The only restaurant in the main city square.

The restaurant “Royal” is the part of the Cattaro - Maximus complex, which was opened on the 13th July 2006.

The whole complex is situated on the main city square, in the old town of Kotor.

Complex is integrated in the town walls, town guard building, Providur's palace local authority in period when Venetia was in govern of this part of Adriatic coast, until 1806, and Napoleon's Theatre, which was build in Napoleons honor in 1810. All these building are now renovated and adapted to be used as Hotel, Casino, and discotheque, unique for it design because it preserved the luxury of the 18th century style, and combined it with the ultimate technical equipment.

Restaurant “Royal” was designed to visualize time when whole object was built, and its mixture of baroque stile with furniture and great luster and also with great format naval paintings. Restaurant is consist of two parts, inner part with capacity of 60 seats and outside , Napoleon’s balcony , with capacity of 16 seats and with probably most beautiful look on main city square and city entrance. This is a place to seat, watch and enjoy the pleasant surroundings of Mediterranean old city of Kotor.

Restaurant is on the 1st floor of  hotel “Cattaro”.

The Maximus discotheque one of the most luxuries, sound and light equipped in this part of Mediterranean, totally built in the city walls, the place where history is surrounded by modern technique.

On the discotheque top, is situated the biggest terrace in Montenegro, eight meters from land, on the old “Kampana” and walls the place where the Old Town of Kotor was defended during century of medieval naval warfare now is ”Citadella”, restaurant with international cuisine and capacity of 400 seats.
